These Official Rules govern all promotional contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways (“Promotions”) offered by CoinCollecting.com (“Sponsor”). By entering any Promotion, you agree to these Official Rules, the CoinCollecting.com Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between these Official Rules and the Terms of Service, these Official Rules control for that Promotion.
1. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, and directors of CoinCollecting.com, its affiliates (including Legacy Inc. and Provision Assets Corp.), and their immediate family members are not eligible.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. How to Enter
Entry is made exclusively through the official entry form on the CoinCollecting.com website. To enter you must: • Complete the online entry form with your first name, last name, a legitimate phone number, and a legitimate email address (and any other information requested on that form). • Accept the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and these Official Rules.
Limit: one (1) entry per person per Promotion unless the specific entry form states otherwise.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A free method of entry is always available through the website form.
Automated, bulk, robotic, or fraudulent entries are void. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that appears to violate these Rules or the Terms of Service.
3. Entry Period
The entry period for each Promotion begins and ends on the dates and times stated on the individual entry form for that Promotion. Entries must be received during the applicable entry period.
4. Prize
The prize (or prizes) for each Promotion will be described on the entry form, including the approximate retail value at the time of the Promotion.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered unless required by law. Winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or shipping costs. Prizes are awarded “as is.” Numismatic values fluctuate; Sponsor makes no warranty regarding future value or condition beyond the description provided on the entry form.
5. Winner Selection and Odds
Unless otherwise stated on the entry form, winners will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received for that Promotion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.
6. Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize
The potential winner will be notified by email, phone, or text within approximately seven (7) days after the drawing. The potential winner must respond and confirm eligibility within seven (7) days of notification.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond in time, is found ineligible, or fails to comply with these Rules, an alternate winner may be selected.
Sponsor may require a simple affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release before awarding the prize.
7. Publicity
By entering, you consent to Sponsor’s use of your first name, last initial, city and state of residence, and social media username/handle (if provided) for winner announcement and legally permitted publicity on the Site, in email newsletters, and on Sponsor’s official social media accounts. No other personal information will be publicly shared without your additional explicit consent.
8. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion.
By entering, you release and hold harmless CoinCollecting.com, its affiliates (including Legacy Inc. and Provision Assets Corp.), and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims arising out of or related to your participation in the Promotion or the receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, or misdirected entries; technical failures; or any other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic, or otherwise.
10. Disputes
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ramsey County, Minnesota.
11. Privacy
Information collected in connection with any Promotion is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. By entering, you also consent to the data practices described there, including limited sharing with Sponsor’s affiliated entities for Promotion administration and related legitimate purposes.
12. Winner List
For the name of a winner of a specific Promotion (first name and last initial), send a request to info@coincollecting.com within thirty (30) days after the end of that Promotion’s entry period.
Additional Rules for Coin Show Attendee Coin Giveaways Only
The following additional conditions apply only to Coin Show Attendee Coin Giveaways. In the event of any conflict between this section and the general rules above, this section controls for Coin Show Attendee Giveaways.
Eligibility – Show Attendance Required
You must be an actual attendee of the specific coin show named on the entry form in order to enter. Entry is limited to one (1) entry per person per show.
Entry Requirements
In addition to the standard online form requirements (first name, last name, legitimate phone number, and legitimate email address), you must confirm that you attended the named show.
Entries that do not meet the attendance requirement are void.
All other general rules above continue to apply,
including the random drawing, prize terms, notification process, publicity consent, release language, and privacy provisions.
Specific show name, dates, entry period, and prize details for each Coin Show Attendee Giveaway will appear on the individual entry form for that show.
