These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CoinCollecting.com (the “Site”), owned and operated by CoinCollecting.com, including all features, content, services, sweepstakes, memberships, and related offerings. By using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and reside in the United States to use the Site or participate in any Promotion, membership, or communication-based service. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. User Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features of the Site, including newsletters, memberships, and Promotions, require you to submit accurate and complete personal information. You agree to:

CoinCollecting.com may periodically offer promotional contests, sweepstakes, or giveaways (“Promotions”). Each Promotion is governed by these Terms and by specific Official Rules provided at the time of entry. If a conflict exists, the Official Rules will control.
3.1 Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Entry into a Promotion may require:
- Submission of personal contact information
- Joining a newsletter or membership
- Following CoinCollecting.com social media accounts
- Optional referrals (you must have consent before submitting someone else’s information)
Limits:
- One entry per method per person per day unless stated otherwise
- Automated, fraudulent, or abusive entries are prohibited
- Promotions are void where prohibited or restricted by law
CoinCollecting.com may cancel, suspend, or modify any Promotion for any reason, including fraud prevention or technical issues.
3.2 Prizes
Prizes may vary from promotional materials and are not exchangeable for cash unless required by law. Winners are responsible for applicable taxes, fees, or shipping costs unless stated otherwise.
3.3 Winner Notification
Winners will be notified via email, phone, or SMS. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days or fails to meet eligibility requirements, an alternate winner may be selected.
3.4 Publicity, Winner Announcement, and Limited Personal Data Use
By entering a Promotion, participants expressly consent to the public use of limited identifying information if chosen as a winner. This includes:
- First Name
- Last Initial
- City and State of residence
- Social Media Username/Handle (including public tagging)
This information may be used on the Site, in email newsletters, and on official social media accounts for:
- Winner verification
- Prize administration
- Transparency and legally permitted publicity
No other personal information—such as full last name, home address, phone number, or email—will be publicly shared without explicit written consent.
By participating, you grant CoinCollecting.com the right to use this information without additional compensation, to the extent permitted by law.
3.5 Data Use and Sharing with Affiliated Entities
Personal information collected for Promotions may be used for administration, fraud prevention, communication, and future promotional outreach per our Privacy Policy.
You acknowledge and agree that CoinCollecting.com may share your submitted information with its affiliated companies solely for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Legacy Inc.
- Provision Assets Corp.
This may include assistance with Promotion administration, customer support, lead fulfillment, or communications regarding numismatic products or services you have opted into.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share sensitive data except when necessary to complete a requested service or as permitted by law.
4. User Submissions and Content Licensing
(Including Collector Story Submission Consent & Release)
By submitting any story, image(s), testimonial, comment, or other content (“Submission”) to CoinCollecting.com, you agree to the following:
4.1 License Grant
You grant CoinCollecting.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to:
- Use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute your Submission
- Share your first name and last initial
- Feature your Submission on the Site, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
We may edit Submissions for clarity, formatting, or length, but will not alter their essential meaning.
4.2 Representations
You represent and warrant that:
- The Submission is your original work or you have the legal right to submit it
- It does not infringe on any copyright, privacy, or intellectual property rights
- All statements are truthful and based on your own experience
4.3 Liability Release
You release and hold harmless CoinCollecting.com, its affiliates, and partners from any claims arising from:
- Publication or distribution of your Submission
- Any edits made for clarity or formatting
- Use of your name, initials, or submitted content
CoinCollecting.com does not verify the factual accuracy of user submissions.
4.4 Notification and Anonymity
We will notify you before your Submission is published.
If you wish to remain anonymous or limit identifying details, you must indicate this in your Submission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Site or data
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
- Interfere with the Site’s security or functionality
- Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
Violation may result in termination of access.
6. Intellectual Property
All Site content—including text, logos, images, videos, artwork, branding, and design—is the intellectual property of CoinCollecting.com or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
7. Third-Party Links and Affiliated Offers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoinCollecting.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or participation in Promotions.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Ramsey County, Minnesota.
